My sister and I bought a 2-person desk from IKEA, then used burlap to put on top of the old dorm desk for a printer desk.

When renovating a space at home, we decided to use the shelving unit as storage in our dorm. Used as a common space for storing just about anything.

The closet was pretty small and cramped, so we started by using the white fold-up storage shelves, also from IKEA, to store socks, belts, etc. Then, we put shoes in a wicker basket to save floor space

With such a small space left after putting in a home-made loft, we made great use of our space. Using vintage wooden crates we created a storage space for hair/beauty products.

*GET A LOFT IF YOU'RE GOING TO LIVE IN THE DORMS!* They save soo much space!!

Use cute, decorative pillow cases to cover ordinary dorm desk chairs.

So everyone who is anyone has heard of the annual music festival in Tennessee— Bonnaroo. From recently finishing my first year of college, I have learned a lot about myself and my relationships. Bonnaroo brought a calmness to the overwhelming idea that I am no longer a child, no longer just dreaming but an adult chasing her dream in the real world. Everyday is a day closer to my future and the endless possibilities I am encountering in the next couple years. Music is a way of organizing my feelings and passions and the bottled stress. In ways I can not express, music steadies my mental and physical emotions. And to cherish 5 whole days of such peace was magical.

This Thanksgiving I was thankful for quite a few things, one of which was that Donald Glover’s album finally came out… and I’m also thankful that it wasn’t a disappointment. I guess having your TV show put on hiatus works out well for some people (I know it hurts, guys, but art is pain).

After taking the internet by storm with Freaks and Geeks last year, I know I wasn’t alone in waiting for his album to drop so if you haven’t already, give it a listen and see the awesomeness for yourself and also check out his Tumblr (yeah, he’s one of us).
